The football practice for this afternoon has been cancelled.

All prospective swim team members should report to the football field for try-outs.

Spring has sprung, and as a result rivers throughout North America are bursting at the seams to handle all of the melted snow and rainfall. These shots were taken in Bedford this afternoon and show the short-term impact of all of that H2O on the landscape. A little more water and the bridge wouldn't be a bridge anymore.

BTW - the baseball field and football field always flood this time of year, but they'll be playable by May. I suppose you could pitch from the mound, but the catcher would have a hard time with those errant sliders in the dirt - not to mention that everyone else on the team would be wading around in a foot of water.
