With the sun shining and the sky clearing after yesterdays rain we've had quite a bit of activity this morning. Birds are all about - I missed a shot of the woodpecker that was making such a racket on our maple tree this morning because I wasn't fast enough - and the bees are back at work in the trees and whatever flowers are available this early on in the season.
We haven't seen any deer recently. Probably because there's plenty of green available in safer places further into the woods. We do hear the peepers though. It's hard to block them out. If you listen carefully to their call you'll go stark raving mad. Seriously. It's that eardrum piercing a sound.
